As technology advances, we’re starting to see more and more AI writing tools popping up in the market. These tools can be incredibly useful for creating content quickly and easily, but it can be difficult to know which ones are worth using.
In this video, I’ll be comparing four AI writing tools that are fully integrated into Gutenberg, the default editor for WordPress. I’ll also be testing these tools alongside Chat GPT, the large language model trained by OpenAI.
The Tools
The four AI writing tools I’ll be comparing are Gutenberg Hub, Bertha AI, AI Engine, and Human Made’s AI writer. All of these tools are fully integrated into Gutenberg, which means that you can access them directly from the editor without having to switch between different applications.
Gutenberg Hub
Gutenberg Hub’s AI writer is incredibly easy to use. To access it, you simply need to type a space in the editor and a prompt will appear. You can then write your prompt, and the AI writer will start generating content based on it. One of the nice things about Gutenberg Hub is that you can see the content being generated in real-time, which gives you a good idea of how it’s progressing. Additionally, the AI writer will automatically format the content for you, making it easy to use in Gutenberg.
However, there are some limitations to Gutenberg Hub’s AI writer. You can’t easily edit the entire block of content once it’s been generated, which can be frustrating if you want to make changes.
Bertha AI
Bertha AI’s AI writer is accessed through a chatbot interface. To use it, you simply need to click on the Bertha AI icon in the editor and start typing your prompt. Like Gutenberg Hub, Bertha AI’s AI writer will generate content in real-time, allowing you to see how it’s progressing. Additionally, Bertha AI’s AI writer allows you to interact with it, which means that you can ask it to make changes to the content once it’s been generated.
However, there are some limitations to Bertha AI’s AI writer. You can’t easily insert the generated content into the editor, which means that you need to copy and paste it in. Additionally, the content is generated without any formatting, which means that you’ll need to spend some time formatting it yourself.
AI Engine
AI Engine’s AI writer is accessed through a chatbot interface. To use it, you simply need to type a space in the editor and the AI copilot will appear. Like Bertha AI, AI Engine’s AI writer allows you to interact with it, which means that you can ask it to make changes to the content once it’s been generated.
However, there are some limitations to AI Engine’s AI writer. Additionally, there are some issues with the speed of the AI copilot, which can be frustrating if you’re trying to generate content quickly.
Human Made’s AI Writer
Human Made’s AI writer is the newest AI writing tool on the market, and it’s still in development. To use it, you simply need to add your prompt by a shortcut, and the AI writer will start generating content based on it. One of the nice things about Human Made’s AI writer is that it allows you to create tables directly within Gutenberg, which can be incredibly useful if you’re creating content that requires a lot of data.
Conclusion
Overall, all of the AI writing tools we tested have their strengths and weaknesses. Gutenberg Hub and Bertha AI are good options if you want to generate content quickly and easily, but they have limitations when it comes to editing and formatting. AI Engine and Human Made’s AI writer are newer tools that still have some kinks to work out.
Chat GPT, on the other hand, is not specifically designed for content writing, but it is incredibly versatile and can be used for this purpose. If you’re looking for an AI writing tool that allows you to edit and manipulate the content once it’s been generated, Chat GPT is a great option.
